This report covers the works from the second industrial training, which was carried out at Span Contractors Ltd, in partial fulfilment of the requirements for the award of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering. The training project was proposed mixed-use building (parking, shops and apartments) on plots 1, 3 & 5, Burton Street and 2, Johnson Street, central division, Kampala Chapter 1 gives a brief introduction of Industrial Training and its objectives, and information about Span Contractors Ltd. Chapter 2 discusses the practical work that was done during the training program. Chapter 3 discusses the lessons learnt and challenges faced during the period of industrial training Chapter 4 discusses the conclusions and recommendation

Brief information about SMTC Semuto Town council from 20th June to 20th August 2021 .It’s a newly created town council in Nakaseke District comprising of five wards that is katale, Posta, lule, health Centre as well as transformer ward. Internship objectives. Preparation of the cash book for expenditures and revenues • Reconciliation of the bank statement with the expenditure cashbook • Preparation of the abstract of expenditures • Preparation of the ledger books

This report explains what I did at the National Library of Uganda during my internship training period. The report is also a course unit of BLIS as a requirement to the fulfillment of my Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Science. This internship report focuses on the training undertaken by the intern for a period of 8 weeks. It takes into consideration the name, address, mission, vision, culture and operation of the host institution. The report further gives an insight into the intern’s experiences that is duties and responsibilities, supervision levels, training and skills acquired, working relationship among staff and reporting procedure. It further evaluates the field attachment, that is the level of accomplishment of duties and responsibilities, new knowledge and skills gained, most interesting experience, relatedness of the field attachment with programs taught at the University, challenges faced like dust, lack of enough stationery and lastly how they were managed and benefits derived from field attachment. In conclusion the importance of internship and the recommendations to both the University and host institution that is general implementation of the retention schedule and extension of the training period respectively. It will be of my great pleasure this report serving a benchmark of the library growth and improvement of its services.

Internship is an opportunity in which a student gets sensible experience and it’s highly competitive which helps in advance to the applicable knowledge and skills required for the student to get jobs in future and career network to accumulate skills. The internship period was from June to August 2014 at voluntary services overseas the internship involves orientation of the organization and its departments, and the introduction for me to the organization.

The one month internships at ART clinic Juba military hospital was organized on major public health issues such as VCT, adherence counseling on HIV/AIDS positive living, health education and health promotion, data collection and even ART pharmacy. However, there were some major challenges that I have faced while at ART clinic Juba Military Hospital. I.e. language, transport and insufficiency health facilities among other challenges thought I have propose some recommendation such as increase in health care facilities, patient’s follow up while on HIV/AIDS medication and generally transport for easy accessibility of workers to all the SPLA sub-unity.

A Biology and Chemistry Primer for Undergraduate Students (ABACUS-1) is a project that developed a General Chemistry Primer that introduced basic chemistry concepts and integrated relevant practical experiments to allow a foundation or refresher for Undergraduate students and enhance better performance in science related courses regardless of incoming (pre-university) subject combination.
