Introduction: In recent years, the number of C-section deliveries has been increasing in developed and developing countries. The worldwide increase in C-section has become a major public health issue due to potential maternal and perinatal risks, inequality of access and cost involved (Abebe, 2016). Purpose of the study: The major objective of the study was to determine the factors associated with increase of caesarean section deliveries at General Military Hospital-Bombo in Luwero district. Methodology: A descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted on 30 clients attending General Military Hospital-Bombo. A random sampling method was used to select the respondents. A quantitative method of data collection was used which employed a pretested self-administered questionnaire with multi-choice questions. Data was collected for 10 days and analyzed using Microsoft word and excel and was represented in form of frequency tables, charts and graphs. Results: The study results showed that majority (60%) of the respondents were aged between 35-44 years. Majority (50%) of the respondents had one pregnancy and minority (10%) had 4-5 pregnancies. Majority (70%) of the respondents were married. (60%) of respondents had secondary level. Majority (50%) of the respondents were business women. Majority (50%) of the respondents had one caesarean section delivery. (60%) of the respondents had obstetrical reasons and minority (40%) had medical reasons for having caesarean section deliveries. Conclusions: Age, parity, marital status, maternal occupation, income status, education, number of caesarean section deliveries done, obstetrical and medical conditions were the major contributing factors to the increase of caesarean section deliveries.

Salting out is a purification method that utilizes the reduced solubility of certain molecules in a solution of very high ionic strength it is usually used in the precipitation of large biomolecules, such as proteins or DNA. Particularly for this practical, the technique was applied in the precipitation of proteins. The principle behind the salting out technique is based on the fact that proteins have different solubility at different salt concentrations.

a report about health service management attachment carried out at wattuba health centre iii in wakiso district
Level: tertiary
Type: reports
Subject: clinical medicine and community health o
Author: nanyanzi fatiah
Introduction :This report is about the health service management attachment carried out at Wattuba Health Centre III . Activities :There are variety of services that Wattuba health centre III offers and I took part in a number of them that is ; I was able to participate in child immunization during outreaches and at the facility, participated in antenatal care for pregnant women , cervical cancer screening , participated in the ART clinic by clerking and also giving out medications to HIV patients ,Drug store management and waste management . I was able to learn about how the health centre reports , and attended staff meeting at the facility . Challenges encountered in the field : The disturbing and tiresome process of getting approval to practice at the health facility where a full week was spent moving to and fro the facility and the district in order to get approval signatures to start practicing . Less working space while at the hospital since different departments like Pharmacy , Antenatal,OPD and TB clinic would share the same small space hence making it difficult to accommodate students .Shortage of medical supplies while at the facility which hindered efficient health service delivery to patients .Dust and sunshine heat was also an issue faced . Conclusion: The attachment at Wattuba health centre III was fruitful despite the many circumstances encountered . Recommendations: I would recommend the health facility to create more space in the facility so as to allow more students for practice.s .I would recommend the school to carry out more supervision for the students while on field attachments. I also continue to recommend the school to help the students in getting places for attachment because it requires a hectic process.
