This study was carried out with the aim of analyzing the factors influencing the factors influencing the frequency of antenatal visits among women in Uganda. The objectives were to; identify the effect of socio-demographic factors on the antenatal visits and to identify the impact of economic factors on the frequency of antenatal visits in Uganda. The used data was obtained from the Uganda Demographic and Health survey. For 2016, which was implemented by the Uganda Bureau of Statistics from 15 June to 18 December, 2016. In this research, univariate and bivariate analysis were done using the help of SPSS to get the findings. The results in the findings revealed that the frequency of antenatal visits among the pregnant women in Uganda is influenced by a number of factors such as age, respondent‟s education level, age, type of respondent, literacy, wealth index, medical help to health facility; distance to the health facility. Religion also affected the frequency of ANC visits in any way, according to this particular study. The following recommendation were suggested basing on the objectives of the study; ANC centres specializing in teenage mothers so as to reduce the stigma and increase the attendance and utilization for services, more sensitization of the importance of antenatal care as the urban respondents were observed to attend less ANC because of negligence, more poverty eradication schemes set up so as to increase the incomes of many expectant mothers thus increasing the attendance of ANC since they can even afford the transport fees.
