Introduction :This report is about the health service management attachment carried out at Wattuba Health Centre III . Activities :There are variety of services that Wattuba health centre III offers and I took part in a number of them that is ; I was able to participate in child immunization during outreaches and at the facility, participated in antenatal care for pregnant women , cervical cancer screening , participated in the ART clinic by clerking and also giving out medications to HIV patients ,Drug store management and waste management . I was able to learn about how the health centre reports , and attended staff meeting at the facility . Challenges encountered in the field : The disturbing and tiresome process of getting approval to practice at the health facility where a full week was spent moving to and fro the facility and the district in order to get approval signatures to start practicing . Less working space while at the hospital since different departments like Pharmacy , Antenatal,OPD and TB clinic would share the same small space hence making it difficult to accommodate students .Shortage of medical supplies while at the facility which hindered efficient health service delivery to patients .Dust and sunshine heat was also an issue faced . Conclusion: The attachment at Wattuba health centre III was fruitful despite the many circumstances encountered . Recommendations: I would recommend the health facility to create more space in the facility so as to allow more students for practice.s .I would recommend the school to carry out more supervision for the students while on field attachments. I also continue to recommend the school to help the students in getting places for attachment because it requires a hectic process.

Introduction: This report is about the health service management attachment carried out at Bukoto Health Centre III from the 3rd to 21st of July, 2023. Activities: There are variety of services that Bukoto Health Centre III offers and I took part in a number of them that is; I was able to participate in child immunization during static sessions at the health center, antenatal care for pregnant women , and dispensing ARVs to mothers living with HIV during antenatal ,Drug store management, drug dispensing, family planning services and waste management . I was also able to interact with the various health workers at the facility and acquired knowledge and skills during my stay. Challenges encountered in the field: The main challenge I faced as a student was the whole process of getting approval from KCCA to begin practicing at the facility and the bank payment process. Less working space while at the hospital which makes it difficult to learn well with more than one student. Feeding and transportation was also a great challenge I faced during this practice. Conclusion: The attachment at Bukoto health center III was successful and fruitful despite the challenges I encountered and still remains an appreciated experience. Recommendations: I would recommend that it would be looked upon to make more space in the facility in order to accommodate more students and for the effectiveness of health service delivery at the health center. I would also recommend that the school takes it up to help students easily get access to the facilities by reaching out to the authorities and make payments as a school.

Introduction: This report is about health service management attachment carried out at Watuba H/C III Activities: There are a variety of services that wattuba health centre III offers and I participated in a number of them that is to say, immunization outreaches and static, Antenatal services for pregnant women , Deliveries, ART clinic clerkship ,Cervical cancer screening, Drug store management, family planning and waste management Challenges faced in the field: The burden and hectic process of getting allowed to start working was really unfair. Small working space since different departments share the same small space for example ART, immunization and TB clinic which makes it difficult to accommodate practicing students , health workers and patients. Shortage of medical supplies while at the facility which hindered effective heath service delivery to patients .High rigidity to changes by health workers /staffs and hunger since there was nothing to eat while on duty throughout and financial constraints Conclusion: The attachment at wattuba H/CIII was so beneficial to me despite the circumstances encountered Recommandation: I would recommend the health facility to create more space so as to allow more students practice .I would also recommend the school to carryout more supervision of students while practicing and also the school should help students in getting places of attachment because it requires a long process and its costly as well

These included personal illness, work overload, traffic congestion and a limited time frame and while excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and IT skills were some of the derived benefits. Chapter four contains conclusions and recommendations. On the side of the intern, the key strength was being active and eager to learn while the key weaknesses were time management, poor communication skills and low self-confidence. In the recommendations, future interns are advised to get into the practice of good record keeping and accurate documentation while doing internship, the authority is advised to pay more attention to concerns raised by interns during the course of field attachment and giving interns strict deadlines with regards to the tasks accorded to them in order to achieve more outputs in the short time.
