Description

Nico Livestock Enterprises is a business that is mainly targeting zero grazing method of livestock farming that addresses the land shortage problem of farmers who have been accustomed to free range grazing methods. With this project I am implementing, I will be in position to change the mindset of local farmers in our community. The goats and fresh dairy cows will be mainly purely on zero grazing and this will be of improved breeds such as boer goats, savanna goats, Pastures such as Napier grass, crolis, forage grasses, guinea pasture among others will be grown to supplement animal feeds such as making silage and hay. Maize bran will be reserved for our poultry hens which are Kroilers. Kroilers is a crossbreed of local hens and exotic breeds.
