This study looks at how the application of the welfare principle in Uganda and how the welfare principle has promoted children’s right. This same study goes further to look at the challenges faced by different institutions while trying to implement the welfare principle and uphold the rights of children in Uganda and suggest solutions to the challenges faced during the implementation of the children welfare principle This has all been done and gathered through analyzing the existing individual research reports, laws, documents, journals and other articles concerning the welfare principle in regards to promoting the rights of children in Uganda and also how far this principle has been effectively used considering other relevant information to this study
