The report contains my experience and knowledge acquired as on intern at Off-Tu-Mission for the period of 1stAugust2021-3rd September 2021.The major aim of the period attachment was to get practical knowledge and experience to prepare me for future employment demands as a requirement by the university. As on intern I was attached to the urban children ministry organization which therefore deals with the children’s welfare, education and health .The report covers the activities done, knowledge, skills and experiences acquired in the department under the accounts unit. Chapter one. This gives an overview of the background, objectives of the field attachment vision and mission statement of the organization and also provides the organization, structure of the organization and the main activities of the organization. Chapter two. This gives the student position in organization duties, perfumed and responsibilities, analysis policy document, supervision level and relationship with the survivors, working relationship with the staff, authority levels of the student interest and challenges faced and what can be changed in the organization. Chapter three. This provides the detailed evaluation of the field attachment including the level of accomplishment of duties and responsibilities assigned new knowledge and skills gained in each of the duties and responsibilities, most interesting experience, relatedness of university taught programs to the field of work, challenges faced and how they were managed. It also includes the benefits delivered from field attachment, advocacy in university preparing the student for field attachment and preparedness of the students for field attachment. Chapter four: This provides conclusion and recommendation on the key policy issues that need to be addressed by Makerere University, improvement of service delivery at the place of attachment. This chapter also recommends the university to give internship letter in time for the students to be able to search and start internship as early as possible. It also recommends the students need to be descent, good time managers and respectful to was their field’s supervisor and people they interact with at the field and above all adhere to the field attachment code of conduct.
